TUITION & FINANCIAL AID

An education at St. Michael Indian School is possible! We strive to offer families affordable tuition and financial aid packages that help defray the costs of attending our school.

TUITION & FINANCIAL AID

St. Michael Indian School strives to offer affordable tuition for families. Working together with many scholarship organizations and benefactors, attending SMIS is a reality for students who may not otherwise be able to attend our school and obtain a Catholic college preparatory education.

Over 92% of students participate in one or more types of financial assistance. SMIS is currently the least expensive Catholic middle and high school tuition in the state of Arizona. The average cost of education per student in 2021 was $8,140, and our goal is to provide an affordable and quality education to those who would excel in our school.

FINANCIAL AID

Each school year, over $500,000 in scholarships and financial aid is awarded to students from organizations that St. Michael partners with. There are numerous opportunities available for Arizona resident families to apply; some are academic based but most are need based scholarships. New Mexico families have different opportunities available (make an appointment with Student Accounts to learn more about NM Resident scholarship programs).

Schedule an appointment (virtual, phone, in-person, walk-ins available) to review your household qualifications with Scholarship Manager, Dawn Kasuse.Phone: (505) 979.5590 ext. 3033  // Email: Dawn.Kasuse@smischools.org // Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, after 4 PM by appointment only.

SUPPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Join us in supporting students facing emergencies through our General Fund. Extend a hand further by sponsoring a second scholarship, covering full tuition for aspiring minds. New Mexico residents lack ample educational support—be the difference. Additionally, limited programs for preschool students hinder early development. Your contribution breaks barriers, fostering a future of limitless possibilities. Together, let’s make education an equal opportunity for all. Donate today and illuminate the educational journey for those who need it most.
